Introducing Bruce Broughton! Literally! Intrada Signature Edition spotlights original soundtrack from very first Bruce Broughton feature film score. For this dramatic family crisis story, Broughton engages full compliment of strings, woodwinds, guitars, piano, percussion plus judicious use of French horn. Beautiful themes with Broughton's warm Americana sensibilities highlight. Gentle woodwind solos make appearances, a few moments of frightening material play in contrast. Broughton also wrote his own 'source' music as well as two songs that are spotlighted in the picture, including the memorable 'I Have Today' sung by the incomparable B. J. Thomas. Intrada presents the entire orchestral score direct from the stereo session masters as well as a 'bonus' section featuring the original source cues and songs. Bruce Broughton conducts. This special Signature Edition is limited to 1000 copies.
