Vocalion's 2011 reissue of two of easy-listening legend Geoff Love's 1970s albums, originally released on EMI's Music for Pleasure label. Produced by Norman Newell and recorded at the Chappell Studios in Bond Street, London, these superb albums are among the finest in the Geoff Love Orchestra's extensive discography. The focus here is on music from the movies, with Geoff and his musicians producing brilliant renditions of 23 well-loved film themes, while session drummer Alf Bigden is heard to superb effect throughout the 'Big Suspense Themes' album. This reissue includes an 8-page booklet giving detailed information on both the music and Geoff himself. Remastered from the original analogue stereo tapes for Vocalion's trademark crystal-clear sound.
